2016 is finally over.

It was a challenging time: already notorious in the history books for being the year where it all went wrong. If your year was anything like ours, you found yourself struggling to keep your head above water in more ways than one. Like many of you, we experienced loss, pain, and endured intense situations personally and professionally. We were stretched beyond what we thought we were capable of, yet the new year has us feeling full of fresh perspective and renewed energy to forge ahead!

“Innovation needs preparation, collaboration and the light of the soul. Every challenge provides that light - a greater depth of understanding about life and truth.”
Amit Ray

FELLOW is and always will be rooted in the desire to cultivate our local communities through what we do, and it has been the power of community that’s sustained us during some very dark days. It’s a beautiful thing what happens when we come together locally as one for all, isn’t it?

Somehow, we’ve kept the embers of FELLOW aglow while weathering the storms:

We're co-hosting a series of Make & Tell events in partnership with MCA Denver and The Made Shop (mark your calendar for the next one with Derek Keenan of Mukee Designs on January 18, 2017):

We celebrated the first annual Holiday Hullabaloo at Fort Greene (potluck style with a lineup of some of Colorado’s finest small business artisans around):

We’ve published weekly stories online on The Fellow Journal: facilitated by our new Editor, Sarah Ann Noel:

Needless to say, we’ve come out on the other side of this year stronger (and much wiser) than when we first began this journey as Fellow Magazine. We’re ready for the next chapter in the FELLOW story, and like always, we invite you to join in. We can’t do this without you.

Our plan is to re-launch Fellow Magazine’s print edition in the Fall of 2017! Also, collaborations are in the works for unique community events that will make your heart swoon.

If you’d like to contribute your craft or submit your story suggestions to the magazine, send an email of interest to submissions@fellow-mag.com. We can’t wait to hear from you.

Finally, we’re opening up a special opportunity to a small number of brands that wish to support the magazine through advertising. Our ad partners become a part of the FELLOW family, and there’s lot of good stuff involved by participating in this way. Email us at advertising@fellow-mag.com for more info. Space is very limited!

Cheers to the days ahead. We can’t wait to see where this year takes us as we venture onward.
